How does eesel AI fit in with Atlassian and Confluence?
eesel AI (that’s us!) are an external AI for Confluence and Atlassian.
We’re built with ChatGPT, so you’ll get ‘bots’ that can answer any question about your knowledge base. Whether it’s for a help desk, or team chat. That means all the benefits of a new technology, without the steep learning curve. Your employees and customers will be able to find answers to their questions in an instant. It’s ideal for both help desks and customer service teams!
But if Atlassian already has its own AI in Rovo, why would you need eesel AI? Well, there’s a couple of reasons. Rovo primarily works within Atlassian’s eco-system, so they’re likely to focus on their own integrations. They also have a different pricing model to eesel AI, so you might prefer our billing method to theirs.
eesel AI integrates not only to Atlassian, but also across help desks like Zendesk and Intercom, along with your Google Drive, PDFs, websites and more.
That means you can train the bots on more comprehensive information, and you’re not locked into one option.

Connecting Confluence to your helpdesk and team chats
Confluence is a great single source of information for your employees. The downside is that as it grows, articles and documents can quickly disappear. Which leads to lost time spent looking for information.
You can train an AI on your Confluence, and then it can answer questions using the information that’s housed there. It’s like having a ChatGPT just for your company. It’s also surprisingly easy to set up. Here at eesel AI, we’ve made sure of that!

FAQs
There are quite a few, but the two major differences are in pricing and integrations. Atlassian Intelligence only works on Atlassian’s platform. Rovo features those same integrations, and is currently rolling out across others. At eesel AI, we have the freedom integrate with a lot of different platforms.
We don’t lock our customers into any app’s eco-system. And we’ve found that if you’re working across platforms, you may end up paying for many AI solutions. For example, Atlassian Intelligence and Zendesk AI. eesel AI works across all, so you only pay for one.
Pricing is the other major difference. Rovo’s pricing charges you per user. Atlassian Intelligence comes included in certain enterprise plans, and eesel AI charges based on number of interactions. So depending on your traffic, and how many users you need to sign up, you’ll find that one option is more cost effective than the others.
Yes. eesel AI works across many different apps.
It can act as a support tool for your agents in Zendesk. It can also be a tool that searches all of your documents in Google Drive, and provides you with the information hidden within them. The nice thing is that you can draw from multiple sources for one bot. So you’re not limited in what information you can provide.

It all depends on how you want to use it. Broad strokes: the app can take the information that’s in your confluence and answer any question instantly.
Think about how long your team spends looking for documents and answers on Confluence. You can train an eesel AI bot on all that information and plug it into your Teams or Slack app. From here, any of your team can ask the eesel AI bot a question and it will answer them with the information inside Confluence. Saving them time digging around the server looking for answers, and saving new starters from asking basic questions of their teammates.
If you’re working in a customer-support, eesel AI can draft responses to customer questions using that same information. Then once your comfortable, it can be plugged straight into your customer service chat. From here, it can triage tickets so they go to the right support agents, do some basic fact finding with your customers, and even answer tier one tickets.
